Olena freely teaches most of her art forms and is delighted to share her knowledge with both individuals and groups located in Southeast and Central Ohio. Most classes can be offered at a venue of your choosing, with appropriate safety and fire precautions.
Pysanky classes have been successfully offered to students as young as 6, and jewelry classes to those 12 and up.
Prices vary based on number of attendees and class time.

Pysanky for Beginners
A brief historical introduction opens this class, especially designed for those who have never touched a kistka before. Emptied shells, dyes, tools, and expertise are all provided in this 2-4 hour class, walking the students through creating their own unique, personal treasure. Each student will go home with their completed pysanka for family and friends to marvel at. Maximum 16 students.
Enamelling for Beginners
Ever wanted to play with hot glass? This introductory class will walk students new to enamelling through the process of creating a simple pendant on copper sheet. All materials, a portable kiln, and expertise are provided for students to successfully create their own enamel pendant in an afternoon of instruction. Class runs 4-6 hours. Maximum 6 students.
Advanced Pysanky
New techniques and methods await the students who join our advanced pysanky class, from etching and blending to bleach-back and carving. As with the beginner class, all tools, shells, dyes, and expertise are available for the advanced student to craft an intricate, expressive pysanka, which they will be able to take home. Class lengths are variable, based on the techniques studied. Maximum 12 students.
Cloisonné for Intermediate Students
Bend wires into fantastical designs to create images in glass and metal! Once students are familiar with the basics of enamelling, we invite them to explore design and color in more detailed ways with the ancient art of cloisonné. This class, broken into two intense 6-hour sessions, provides all the materials, equipment, and expertise needed for each student to craft a completed cloisonné pendant to take home. Class runs 12 hours over two days. Maximum 3 students.
